Start of our oil hydraulic business with the first development in Japan of a self-lubricating device for fishing boats

In 1929, we developed for the first time in Japan a self-lubricating device that was used in engines of fishing boats and cargo ships. Lubrication is necessary for engines to prevent machine friction, and once "Rational" went on sale in Japan to perform this function automatically, the product became an instant success. In 1968, we have imported the hydraulic transmission technology of world-renowned hydraulic manufacturer Sundstrand Corporation (currently Sauer-Danfoss) . After further refining this technology, application of this technology also spread to press machines used in factories, machine tools, and construction equipment such as excavators and bulldozers.
