"Mifujirator" refrigeration unit for submarine using fluorocarbon gas is delivered to Japanese Navy

As a result of research on fluorocarbon refrigerant, production of refrigeration units began as a new business. In 1936, Daikin technology supported Japan's first air-conditioned train of Nankai Electric Railway. After that, Daikin undertook production of "Mifujirator," a refrigeration unit for submarines of the Japanese Navy. In 1938, Daikin achieved a Japanese first in 1938 with delivery to the Kure Naval Arsenal of "Mifujirator," a refrigeration unit using fluorocarbon refrigerant.
