Introduction of products to reduce environmental impact manufactured by the Chemicals Division

ZEFFLE™ Infrared Reflective coating

Just painting this product on the roofs of factories or warehouses enables air conditioning systems to reduce its energy consumption. Fluoropolymers makes heat-shielding last longer consequently, it contributes reduction of CO2 emission by enesy saving.

Fuel emission reduction material DAI-EL Fluro TPV™

This product reduces fuel emission to the environment from automobile. The automotive fuel is a family of VOC and considered to be harmful to the eco-system. VOC: Volatile Organic Compounds

UNIDYNE Multi Series™ Water & Oil Repellants DAIFREE™ Mold Releasing Agenｔ

Chemicals Division introduced PFOA-free products to reduce environmental impact.
* PFOA-free is defined as below detectable levels (5ppb).

This introduces the activities our company that are linked to the fluoro chemicals business.

1. Efforts being made to counter the effects of global warming

Daikin is taking action in the destruction of fluorocarbons, which have an impact on global warming.

2. Measures concerning use of PFOA

Daikin and its subsidiaries intend to stop manufacturing, using and selling Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and C8 telomer-based water and oil repellent products by the end of 2015.
