| Ball valves which are made from PTFE are widely used because of the good sealing performance provided by the elasticity of PTFE and the smooth operation provided by PTFE's low friction coefficient. Some seals are coated entirely with PTFE for use in locations where highly-corrosive chemicals and gases are used. In particular, NEW POLYFLON PTFE has greater creep resistance and better secondary processing performance compared to conventional PTFE, making it the ideal material for use in sleeve seals. |
