The M-390 series of POLYFLON PTFE is manufactured using the latest in granulation technology, resulting in improved powder flow properties over conventional free flow-type products such as the M-30 series. Smaller particle diameters, narrow particle size distribution and excellent electrostatic characteristics all combine to provide a dramatic improvement in molding and processing performance for this product series.
The surfaces of the molded articles produced are extremely smooth, and three different grades (M-391, M-392 and M-393) are available to cater to different requirements such as the molding method to be used and the desired shape of the molded articles.

The M-390 series of POLYFLON PTFE has a greater apparent density than conventional free flow-types such as M-33. The new series also has a smaller particle diameter, more narrow particle size distribution and low electrostatic characteristics, which result in improved particle flow characteristics. This allows the material to flow more easily into molds during automatic and semi-automatic molding processes.
Furthermore, the surfaces of the molded articles produced are extremely smooth.

Grade Main features
M-392 ・ Good fill characteristics particularly into narrow gaps, making it ideal for molding of thin sleeves and for isostatic molding.
・ The surfaces of molded articles are particularly smooth, so that no surface planning is needed and it can be used for sheet molding.
M-393 ・ Maximum emphasis given to ease of handling during molding.
・ Used when molded article height is required.
M-391 ・Used if there are concerns about insufficient molding pressure for flat sheets.
