The application of fluorine extends even to the growth fields of semiconductors, automobiles, ICT, and new energy. As a new application in advanced fields, Daikin is strengthening its hybrid and non-fluorine business with new product development by fusion with other materials and expansion of the product lineup of non-fluorine materials. While focusing on development, we are also actively collaborating with outside parties to create new possibilities and markets for fluorine through industry-academia collaborations as well as partnerships and alliances with other companies. By doing so, we aim to capture the brisk demand in the semiconductor market and increase market share.
