The Daikin Group fosters its Japanese and international employees in whatever way necessary to help them use their abilities to the fullest.

We established a new global training center in fiscal year 2008 as part of our focus on fostering employees capable of leading Daikin on the world stage.

The Daikin Group believes it is our people who make us competitive. That's why we offer fairness of opportunity and reward: a workplace where all employees-whatever their age or nationality-have a chance to put their motivation and talent to work.

Daikin has systems to help employees balance work and childcare. Other ways we create a workplace of diverse talent include systems for gender equality and a system for allowing retired employees to continue with Daikin until they are 70. We are also hiring an increasing number of disabled across the entire Group.

Range of Childcare Leave and Support Systems

Daikin Industries stresses a work life balance for employees. It has established an action plan for helping employees with children continue both work and home duties with peace of mind and has been certified as a company complying with the Law for Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation. We have been particularly active in urging male employees to take advantage of our systems for childcare leave and childcare support.

Occupational Safety and Health

Keeping the Workplace Safe and Employees Physically and Mentally Fit

To eliminate all accidents and make the workplace safe for employees, Daikin division heads take the lead in promoting safety first while employees constantly strive to think and act in the name of workplace safety.

And to keep employees in top health, we provide physical check-ups and guidance from public nurses and nutritionists, as well as programs to maintain employees' mental well-being.
