The DC Inverter series hi-tech energy-saving package includes a reluctance DC ccompressor motor, DC fan motor, Daikin’s advanced swing ccompressor and PAM control, and shifts from a conventional AC inverter to advanced DC Inverter technology, thus giving the FTXD25D a COP of 3.45, 22% higher than conventional models.

Inverter power control maximises capacity to quickly reach the set temperature. It then reduces capacity to the minimum level required to maintain the set temperature. Most of the time the unit operates at near the minimum level. Compared to non-inverter air conditioners, Daikin iInverter power control reduces power consumption by approximately 30%.
Daikin inverter power control uses its full capacity at startup to quickly reach the set temperature and cool the room faster.
As soon as iInverter power control reaches the set temperature, it finely adjusts capacity to eliminate temperature fluctuations and offer greater comfort.

Inverter air conditioners are able to vary their operating capacity. Non-inverter air conditioners can only operate at a fixed capacity.
