Outdoor unit quiet operation is now available in all outdoor models from the 2.5 to 7.1 kW class. This function decreases operation sound 3 dB below the rated operation, and provides an ultra-low 43 dB for the RKS25D. (Capacity may decrease when Outdoor unit quiet operation is selected.)

Titanium apatite photocatalytic air-purifying filter

Titanium apatite is a new photocatalytic material with superior adsorption power. Besides mould and odours, titanium apatite also effectively adsorbs and decomposes bacteria across its entire surface. The photocatalyst is activated simply by exposure to natural light.

These filters are not medical devices.
Benefits such as the adsorption and removal decomposition of bacteria are only effective for substances that are collected on and in direct contact with the Titanium Apatite Photocatalytic Air-Purifying Filter.

Mold-proof operation

Fan-only operation can be set to run automatically for 1 hour when cooling or drying operations are stopped in order to dry the inside of the indoor unit and reduce the generation of mould and odours.

Wipe-clean flat panel

Flat panel models can be clean instantly with a single wipe of a cloth across their smooth surface. If more thorough cleaning is required, the panel can also be easily removed from the unit.
