Ururu humidifying operation

Adds moisture to the air to maintain a comfortable humidity level even during dry weather.

Daikin’s exclusive system requires no separate water supply,*1
so there is no need to add water and no worries about mould

Using a humidifier unit in the outdoor unit, the Ururu humidifying operation function extracts moisture from outdoor air and uses it to raise the moisture level of the indoor air throughout the room. The system is very hygienic because there is no water tank requiring periodic refilling.

  • Because the Ururu Sarara uses a different humidification method from conventional humidifiers, the actual humidification volume varies depending on outdoor conditions and installation details.
  • Humidification volume is reduced by approximately 15% when the outdoor temperature drops by 5°C.
  • Humidification volume is reduced by approximately 20% when the outdoor relative humidity drops by 20%.
  • A humidifier hose length (piping length) of 7.5 metres is used as the standard. Extending the hose length by 2 metres will reduce the humidification volume by approximately 10%.

Ururu humidifying operation is the ideal form of winter heating because it combines the functions of an air conditioner (heater) and a humidifier in a single system. The powerful humidifying function spreads warm, moisturised air evenly to every corner of the room. Humidity is maintained at the ideal level for skin that is sensitive to dryness.

The dryer the air, the less our bodies perceive the warmth around us. Ururu humidifying operation humidifies the indoor air just the right amount so that you feel comfortably warm even at a relatively low temperature setting.

The humidity may not reach the exact level due to the effects of indoor or outdoor conditions.


Dry air is ideal for the spread of viruses. Ururu humidifying operation lets you keep the air optimally moist.*3

It is understood that the mortality rate of viruses rises when the relative humidity is 40% or higher. Ururu humidifying operation maintains the moisture in the air so that viruses have difficulty propagating.*2
