To all of those suffering from the Great East Japan Earthquake, we would like to express our deepest sympathy and support for the hardships you are suffering and offer our heartfelt prayers for the swift reconstruction and revitalization of affected areas.
At our Daikin Kashima Plant (Kamisu City, Ibaraki Prefecture), production gradually resumed from April 1 after being temporarily halted due to the impact of the earthquake, and by April 15 full-fledged operation had largely been restored.
At this time, we wish to announce that periodic facility inspection was executed and completed at the beginning of May and that production will subsequently resume under the system for normal operations.
