To commemorate the tenth anniversary of its China operations, Daikin Industries, Ltd. has opened the largest and first-ever air-conditioning equipment showroom in the country, with a total area of 1,800m2. D-Solution Plaza Shanghai, which will exhibit Daikin's world-leading products and technologies, is expected to attract 1,500 visitors a month, furthering the development of the company and the creation of new value in China. Visitors will be able to examine a comprehensive line-up of the latest air-conditioning products from all the Daikin China Group production bases, ranging from complete systems for large buildings to energy-saving home units.
D-Solution Plaza Shanghai's several permanent installations set it apart from the ordinary showroom. These include an Air Conditioning Library, a Cutting-Edge AC Technologies Experience Zone, and an Energy Conservation Verification Corner.
The Plaza has been designed to provide total air-conditioning solutions. The first showroom in China to be staffed with 40 fulltime SEs (sales engineers), it affords visitors the opportunity not only to browse the latest in air-conditioning products but also to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between air-conditioning equipment and energy conservation, along with the core technologies behind air-conditioning's amenities.
