Daikin Industries, Ltd. announces the completion of its acquisition, announced on August 26, 2009, of Nippon Muki Co., Ltd. (Head Office in Tokyo Chuo-ku), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd. (Head Office in Tokyo Minato-ku) as of October 7, 2009.
The total purchase price for 100% of the outstanding shares of Nippon Muki was 5 billion yen.
This acquisition is not expected to greatly affect the consolidated business results of Daikin Industries.
