Globally communicating the Daikin brand through contemporary design
28 March 2014
Daikin Airconditioning Italy S.p.A. (located in Milan, Italy), a group company of Daikin Industries, Ltd., will be presenting an exhibit for the first time at the world's largest design festival "Milano Salone," which is being held this year from April 8 (Tue) to April 13 (Sun) in Milan, Italy.
Fabrica, a communication research center led by international designer Sam Baron, who is based in Italy, and Daikin Italy are exhibiting various kinetic installations* that give conceptual representation to unseen physical properties such as air, temperature, and humidity in a theme titled HOT & COLD - FABRICA FOR DAIKIN.
Through this exhibition, Daikin hopes to express its "devotion to air" and utilize the event as an opportunity to communicate the Daikin brand globally.
HOT & COLD provides an opportunity for new discoveries concerning temperature. The numerous kinetic installations on exhibit take shape in air and have been produced with an approach taken from various perspectives. Space structured from these takes on an "air art museum" quality and becomes a medium for stimulating the senses of visitors to the exhibition hall.
