The heat pump desiccant integrates the heat exchanger and desiccant element to enable highly-efficient dehumidification and humidification with no need to supply or drain water.
Because heat is added indirectly to the large size desiccant using air heated by the heater, heater temperature is high, and efficiency is low.
The heat exchanger and desiccant have been integrated.
Direct heat transfer to the desiccant element has eliminated heat loss, and moisture regeneration and absorption is possible even at a low regeneration temperature of around 40ºC. Powerful humidity control and significant energy-efficiency operation have been achieved.
