Energy-Saving Air-Conditioning Network Service System

PerformanceOffice air conditioning case study

Responsive to rapid outdoor temperature fluctuations.

Refrigerant temperature control (during cooling peak)

June and July 2008 actual record (daily basis)

Control contents

Power consumption is reduced with almost no effect on the indoor temperature by increasing the indoor unit refrigerant temperature.

Control results

Comparison of performance with and without control

* Measurement conditions and time: Tuesday, June 24, to Thursday, July 31, 2008

  • Power, operating hours, refrigerant temperature, and other readings were calculated by analyzing data stored by the air conditioner.
  • Weather data values were used for outdoor temperatures.

* With keeping a moderate temperature setting constant, the energy savig is achieved with maintaining comfortable condition by evaporating temperature control even under high outdoor temperature.
