POLYFLON™PTFE

POLYFLON PTFE is composed of polytetrafuluoroethylene, the most commonly used fluoroploymer. PTFE has a very long chain molecular structure in which all of the hydrogen atoms of polyethylene are replaced by fluorine atoms.
PTFE is superior in heat resistance and chemical resistance compared with the other plastics. These properties result from stable chemical structure consisting of only carbon and fluorine atoms with the highest electro negativity.

POLYFLON™ PTFE M-Series

POLYFLON PTFE M-series is a granular powder for compression molding. As melt viscosity is extremely high, it cannot be used for molding applied to general plastic. Therefore basically at first it is compressed in the mold and is fused by sintering over its melting point. Various molding methods are developed.
There are many types of POLYFLON PTFE to be applied the methods, conditions in mold processing and application.

M-139 400 Approximately 0.92 Excellent flowability and high apparent density, suitable for automatic compression molding.
Excellent creep resistance and good secondary processing such as welding.
M-391S 350 Approximately 0.80 Good flowability, small particle size, sharp particle size distribution and low electrostatic charging property.
Its molding articles have extremely smooth surfaces.
Suited for thin-walled mold gap and iso static molding because of the excellent filling property.
Can be used in the case of lack of press ability of the mold machine, for example, large size sheet, from one side press, etc.
M-392 400 Approximately 0.86 Good flowability, small particle size, sharp particle size distribution and low electrostatic charging property.
Suited for thin-walled mold gap and iso static molding because of the excellent filling property.
M-393 500 Approximately 0.93 High apparent density, excellent flowability, small particle size, sharp particle size distribution and low charging property.
Suited for deeper filling for mold and transferring powder by air.
M-532 450 Approximately 0.82 Good flowability, small particle size, sharp particle size distribution and low electrostatic charging property.
Suited for thin-walled mold gap and iso static molding because of the excellent filling property.
