Daikin Industries, Ltd. announces its selection among the “Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators 2024” as determined by Clarivate Plc (headquarters: London, United Kingdom), a global information services provider. Since 2012, Clarivate has been analyzing patent data to identify the world’s top 100 innovative companies and research institutions and has honored these outstanding companies with this award for the past 13 years. This honor marks Daikin's ninth reception, following the 2021 award.
Leveraging its extensive proprietary patent data, Clarivate analyzes intellectual property trends and evaluates companies and research institutions worldwide for its prestigious list of “Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators.” Eligible companies are chosen based on the criteria of the number of innovations filed since 2000 and granted within a five-year timeframe. The top 100 companies are selected according to their scores on metrics including Influence, Success, Investment, and Rarity.
To strategically promote intellectual property activities, Daikin establishes and reinforces intellectual property portfolios that contribute to our business in cooperation with the R&D and Sales Departments.
